One Year

This little guy came to visit me on his first birthday. He has three teeth, which he is happy to show off with his contagious smile. Happy Birthday, S!

Gorgeous Sisters

You might recognize this little girl because she is all over my website and on my studio walls. I have been photographing her since she was a newborn, and it's always a pleasure to see her. I told her mother that this kid could model because she is so cooperative and actually poses. I was quite honored to take her 4-year portraits this week.



And she has some big news. Besides being 4, she is also a big sister now!



I think we have another model on our hands!

Sneak Peek

I had the pleasure of meeting this little sweetheart on Friday. When I saw those cute pigtails bouncing up my driveway, I knew we were going to have a great session.

Baby Parts

I have a new favorite thing about summer. I love that my niece is off from school and she comes over on Thursdays to play with the kids. It gives me an extra day to process orders and works wonders for my stress level.

So my niece was here today and I finished drafting up a baby parts collage for little Miss A. What a gorgeous baby, huh? That little crazy hair picture in the bottom right is just killing me with cuteness.

I can't wait to see how this is going to look as a 16x16 canvas gallery wrap. We plan to add her name and birthdate along the edges that wrap around the stretcher frame. Her parents live in a loft in Lakeview and I know that this will make a stunning and contemporary addition to their walls.

We're on the cover!

Well ok, SHE's on the cover, not me. LOL!

I am so excited to let everyone know that the new Expectant Mothers Guide to Chicago is officially available at obstetricians offices around Chicagoland. Special thanks to my great client A, the gorgeous cover girl you see here. We had such a great time with her maternity session and as you can see, that fun and energy really comes thru in her resulting photos.

A, I am expecting some hard copies of the magazine to arrive shortly and will pass them along to you as soon as I get them.

I'm Back...

in more ways than one! I am back from my family vacation and I am also back online.

Vacation was fun and relaxing, and I am still getting thru all of the emails and voice mails that came in while I was gone. So if you haven't heard back from me yet, you will soon.

When I got back into town, I came home to find my website was down. The data center in Texas that hosts the servers for several hosting companies suffered an explosion. This data center of course has backup plans in place, but the fire department did not allow use of any backup generators until the situation was stabilized. This resulted in a huge "web glitch" all over the internet, as several popular hosting companies utilize this particular data center. Obviously this is a rare problem that should not occur again (fires, much less explosions, certainly do not happen everyday!). I apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused any of my clients.
